San Jose, Calif. (June 9, 2004) – Silicon Optix introduces Image AnyPlace-BEX. Ideal for advertising, simulation, domed theaters and projection walls, Image AnyPlace-BEX adds the complementary features of edge blending and color matching to Image AnyPlace’s existing powerful image geometry correction and scaling capabilities.
"Edge blending is a great addition to Image AnyPlace," said George Brosie, director of systems engineering for Innovative Technology Group, a leading A/V systems integrator. "With the ability to do both curved surfaces and edge blending together, Image AnyPlace-BEX allows us to come up with some very creative solutions for our clients."
See Image AnyPlace-BEX at booth #4363 at the InfoComm ‘04 show in Atlanta, Georgia, June 9-11th.
Additional Image AnyPlace-BEX features:
- Extreme keystone correction (+/-40° H & +/-30° V) allowing for flexible projector placement while maintaining aspect ratio and avoiding moiré artifacts
- Geometric correction for projection onto curved, spherical or even irregularly shaped screens
- Wide range of signal input -- HDTV, VGA to SXGA, NTSC/PAL, S-video, component
- SD de-interlacing (Motion adaptive with advanced diagonal processing & film 3:2 detection)

- High-quality 65-tap scaling
- Aspect ratio conversion (with non-linear stretch)
- Gamma correction
- Input window positioning
Image AnyPlace ($2,495 MSRP) features high quality 4D keystone correction enabling projectors to be placed almost anywhere with respect to the screen.
Image AnyPlace-EX ($3,995 MSRP) comes with eWARP Designer software enabling projection onto curved, spherical or even irregularly shaped screens.
Image AnyPlace-BEX ($5,495 MSRP) extends all of these powerful features to multiple projector installations. Image AnyPlace-BEX will be upwardly compatible with the existing eWARP Designer software and Image AnyPlace controls and communication protocol.
