SILICON OPTIX REON HQV PROCESSING SELECTED BY VIEWSONIC FOR FLAGSHIP PROJECTOR
San Jose, CA—(January 7, 2008)—Silicon Optix, the leader in advanced video processors, announces that Viewsonic Corp. a worldwide leader of visual display products, has selected Reon-VX HQV® video processing for its flagship Precision Series projector, the Pro8100 home theater projector.

Available now for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $4,995, the Pro8100 home theater projector comes standard in black, but customers have the option of customizing the projector to their décor with optional white, silver or burgundy skins. The Pro8100 will be sold only through authorized ‘Precision by ViewSonic’ dealers and specialty retailers.
